No notification that someone wants to join my forum

I started my forum today and sent ivitations to the friends I started it for, but although one of them has registered, I have received no nofitication that she has. Therefore there is no way for me to accept her as a member.

I followed those instructions but the registration sent earlier in the day has still not appeared - at least I don't think so. I have no new messages and no email. How am I informed that someone has registered and wants to activate their membership of my forum?

In ACP>>Users&Groups>>Users options>>Members>>new accounts activation...set to User

also Send notify e-mail on new user registrations :..Admin

All seems to be working now. Other invitees are in overseas countries, so I won't know till tomorrow that all is ok with their registrations, but so far so good.
