can u explain me where to put html code to add button to my forum?

idk anywhere but that people can see it on forum

1. Administration Panel => General => Messages and emails => Announcements => Activate announcements, click save, then to add an announcement, and put the code.

2. Administration Panel => Display => Homepage => Generalities.

3. Also you can add the bbcodes in one post.

do i need to set YES to Activate announcements and to put Announcements display : to homepage click save and to click that green plus and i see Name and content to put the code in content?
