Is "admin" able to be used in an email address during forum join?

Hello,
I have a new member trying to join who says he gets a error on his email addy when registering. I suspect it is because he is using the word admin(at)xyz.com
Any thoughts or ideas?

What exactly is the message the person is getting when he/she is trying to register?

Try to see your inactive members: Go to Administration Panel => Users & Groups => Users => Inactive users.

could the domain addressing be the issue? admin(at)flytech.se
I tried to register him and got the same email error...

Hi,
The domain isn't the issue. Due to a recent security/spam update, we are no longer able to use common address such as Admin@ , abuse@, help@, ect.

Now the register Mails would be send from editboard@formieren.com. I would like that the register Mails (for Account activation) could send from the Mail Adress of the Founder or from an Admin.
Or from the premium Mail Adress (for Credits).
