Help with how to close group to public

I think my group was messed up by someone
I noticed there are a couple of things out of place
I have since fixed it but want to close the group to just anyone joining
I am trying to close down the group from ppl joining and it won't work for me
someone by the name of huh??@hushmail.com had joined and left again but something is strange

Hello , Can you please change the title of your problem from something like Help, Urgent, Few questions, Problems, SOS to something more related to your query/problem.

Your changing the title to something related to the problem will help users who will use the search feature on this forum to solve a similar problem. This way, your problem will be a solution for someone elses problem.

Does it show that the group is a closed group in the administration panel?

Administration Panel>>Users & Usergroups>>Groups>>Group Administration

I'm sorry but its not solved
my group is showing as hidden but ppl are still able to join
I just had one join yesterday and it was on hidden
so plz tell me what to do to solve this problem...tyvm

Have you checked on autosubscribe?

think I have it now
I went into users and groups and then users options and put a tick mark in don't allow new members
see if that works
