I have a closed forum, where guests aren't allowed to view or post. Only registered members can use the forum.
The Search box and the Advanced Search page always return 0 results, even if I know I'm using a common term that is in the forum.
Could this be because the forum is closed to guests? Is there any way around this limitation? It's a big bummer if I can't get any search function to work.
Thanks

Only guests can't search, or this is typical for all users?

For all users. I don't even give the guests a search box, so that's not an issue.
But for example, even from the Admin account the search always returns zero results.

Can you provide your forum url and give me an test account?

Yes, just give me a minute please.
Where should I post the info? I guess I could do it right on this thread, as long as you deleted it right away.

How did you do that???! How come it shows me nothing??
I'm gonna try searching for the same word.
--------
Okay, I got it. It looks like I have to search for a word in the title only.
For example: try searching for the word "infection" in that same thread you posted, and it won't find the thread.
Is there any way to search inside the threads also?
But I'm just happy that at least it'll search the titles. That would've been a big problem for me if it didn't.
