I had a problem with people linking to a competitors website, thus drawing away traffic. I wanted to block that while letting members post their other links.
Solution:
Go to the censored words list and list the domain names of your compititors. Replace the name with a generic word like "forum" or something else. This trick has helped to keep people on my site.
