Forum: Need help with the register.

I have some problems on my forum, i dont understand.

(Sorry if my english is bad)

Every time a new member is trying to register the site, it said "Username is taken", even if its not taken.

I have taken a look at the general information and so on, but it do not help on my own, can you help me?

Users & groups>Inactive users
Check it there.

Every new members have to set a "." after the username, and after that they can change their username back to normal so the "." dosn't show... i still dont understand how the username can be taken, even if its not taken?

Did you check in the Inactive Users List for that specific user you were talking about?

Can you tell me the username that they are trying? Along with the forum url?

They have registrered at the forum, just with a "." after.. so they change it back after... the forum is danish, just so you know:

http://bulletcave.forumr.net/

But its just happend when you write a normal name.

It didn't work for me with Christian but it worked with some other usernames.

I think christian username is already taken.

I tried Sanket, it worked fine for me.

I am sure, christian username is there in the inactive users list if not in the memberlist.

I got it. It's related with the new update. /t100504-new-option-to-complement-the-anti-spam-system-on-forumotion-forums

Just disable this.
