please help me with 'home page'

I am having trouble with using an html page for home page - but, also even using the portal. No matter what I put, it still goes to our 'index page'. I have put your link, used the header, put in your banner - everything - and it still will not revert to the page I want it to - even though it is marked properly in 'homepage generalities' and on the html page.

I need help with this asap - please. I am going to go ahead and create an html page for the homepage - knowing that this can be fixed soon.

I think that I found a problem. We do not have a forum http://www.igdid.com/forum - home page. http://www.igdid.com/forum

If we try to make any other page - even the portal our home page - we cannot get to the forums.

Can you explain, why can't you access the forum when you have a portal? Can't you access the forum using the navigation bar on the top?

If we set the Portal as the 'home' page, when we click 'forums' on the navigation bar, it should go to http://www.igdid.com/forum, but it goes right back to the Portal page http://www.igdid.com/. If I set an html page to home and have a link back to http://www.igdid.com/forum, it goes right back to the home page (the html page set to home). So, once we set the home page to anything but the index, we can't return to it. It appears that the http://www.igdid.com/forum doesn't exist or is being redirected all the time back to http://www.igdid.com/. It appears to not exist - I cannot see it redirecting.

Thank you so much. I have been trying to figure this out for months. I got the html page to now set as a home page - now this problem.

I need a forum http://www.igdid.com/forum.

If you are online now, I can set it to the portal and show you what it does. But, our members won't be able to get to the index, so I can't leave it that way long.

Yes, I have several times. It will not go to the index when we click the navigation bar for 'forums'.

Hi,

To me your forum appears as a forum, but without the '/forum' in the URL.

So the issue is you cannot set anything other then the 'forum' as the index page, would that be correct?
