How to make background for category image right ascross page?

Hi - my site is phpbb2

After reading advice for a similar request I added this to my css;

th.secondarytitle,th[width="50"],th[width="250"]{
background: url(http://i43.servimg.com/u/f43/17/13/46/40/9010.jpg);
}

and everything was working fine but now I find that the image has been set back to color for the parts of the category heading for the fields "Topics", "Posts" and "Last posts". What have I done wrong? Shocked

Ignore this

I simply took the color code out in the admin panel and made it transparent.
