IP shower for bots

I sometimes get overrun by bots, and they make everything run very slow...somewhat anoying.
Since bots cannot be banned in a normal way, I need their IP, so the IP ban comes in as option. Yet, forumotion lags the visibility of bot IP.

I think adding this would be great Razz

I don't think this is possible at all (not only at Forumotion)

it is, just look at phpbb88, they show bots as guests with the IP visible in the admin panel Razz

And that goes for al the forumhosts that use that kind of forum system.

At my old forum, which was not forumotion, bots would appear as guests and would have there IP address list in the statistics section in the Admin panel. I always thought it was the same here, I guess not. Confused

no, here you cant see their IP, the forummotion adminpanel doesnt show any list of the current users online, so there is no way to find out what the ip of those bots is. Razz And thats what i want to be added to the admin panel Razz

you can just turn them off. They should not slo he forum down at all, i get visisted by three bots a day so far and the forum works fine. I vote no.

You can view who is online on your forum at any time from admin panel=>Misc=>Statistics=>Board statistics. There look for this option "Who is Online ?" and you will see the Ip's and usernames(if they are registered members on the forum)

I think it would be a great idea to add a Moderator Bot to well moderate your forums instead of a real person, with a real person you need to look at what they are doing to make sure they are doing what they are supposed to do right. With a bot you could
Is there anyway to hide when BOTS are online on your forum? My members keep asking me what they are and it seems to make them nervous, and I'm tired of explaining what they are. If I could hide them that would be great. thanks
