No ads for 1 month

This is my suggestion is that you have no ads for users and guests for 1 month when you create your forum.

This would be good to see what trafic your forum is going to get, because there is nothing worse than spending moeny on something you think is going to take off then you see that it is not and are faced with a waste of money.

So if ads were disabled for 1 month when you first create the forum, this would be great to do.
This would then allow the member of the forum to decide weither or not to then spend money on the forum or not.

I mean, if we think about it, its both benifical to the creator of the forum and will insure he is more likely to make a payment if he knows how his forum will look like without the ads

I don't remember, if earlier it was like this & had a 3 month initial no ad period.

why in one month you design your forum And all this gets 20 days maximum
if you are alone ....

This would work well if all you were wanting was a basic foru, for like gaming or to discuss some stuff, anyway it would still work maybe even if we got it for longer but something is better than nothing

Not a bad idea. Forumotion is already way ahead of it's competitors, in my opinion. One specific competitor does not have ads for 30 days, I believe. Forumotion could try this out and see if new forums being created increase.

We used to have this... It's really frustrating that they'd take it away. They wouldn't loose many funds, if any at all! Most of the views to a newer (and less known) forum, would just be the administrator. 1 viewer is not that many. Not to mention, as soon as the ads appear on the forum, the administrator would have more of a chance to consider getting rid of the ads, because he would know how it was without the ads.

It would really help the ForuMotion marketing. This would only be ad-free for about 30 days.

This would be an awesome idea! Having a no-ad trial would definitely help me decide if I wanted ads or not--not being able to see it is one reason why I haven't spent the money to get rid of them in the entire time I've owned my board.
