Activation emails

For some reason i'm not getting all activation emails for new registered members through to my email account some i have had within minute and others i'm still waiting for them. I have asked the people to put register again using the same details but it says that username and email already used
any help would be appreciated

Check here to see if any of them are listed:
Administration Panel > Users & Usergroups > Users > Inactive Users
