Using the admin panel, I click Display/Pics Management/Advanced and put the URL of the hosted image (which I previously uploaded and copied the URL from the image serving site)
The picture in the preview (in the Background picture (page) area) updates to the new pic, but when I try going back to the forum, the background picture remains as it was (ie the old pic)
I try clearing my cache etc and reloading the page from scratch but still the old picture persists.
The forum address is http://kismetrpg.forumotion.com/
and the URL for the new pic I want to add is http://i46.servimg.com/u/f46/15/96/02/35/cthulh13.jpg
Any one able to help?

I had a similar problem, in the end I put this in the CSS sheet, which seemed to do the trick for me, just insert your URL:
body {
background-image: url('your URL here')!important;
background-color: #000000;
background-reapeat: no-repeat;
background-position: top center;
padding: 0px;
outline: 0px;
margin: auto!important;
}

Thanks for the reply - I'm a bit new to this so where should I look if I want to edit the CSS sheet? I've really only used the wysiwyg tools for configuring the forum so far.
Thanks

Hi, if you want to find your CSS, please go to:
1. Administration Panel (advanced mode)
2. Display Tab
3. Colors (on the left, under Pictures and Colors)
4. CSS Stylesheet

The background images of applications seems to be rendered twice, the second one is in the child of the main linear layout. This happens after doing any touch event.
