Illegal warning

I got this the other day and I don't know what is illegal on our forum? Pleas help.

You have have until the 29-01-2012 to be in conformity. After this delay, we will have to delete your forum if it still isn't in conformity.

Hi,

There is no way of finding out what is wrong with your forum at this moment. All you can do is reread the TOS http://www.forumotion.com/en/create-forum/terms-of-service.htm and make sure to delete all that violates it.

This can serve you as guidelines too.

The possible deletion reasons are as following :

* Violent or repulsive content
* Hateful or abusive content
* Defamatory content and / or affecting the integrity of a person
* Sexual and/or pornographic content
* Harmful and dangerous acts
* Copyright infringment
* Spam
* Phishing and/ or malware website
* Credit card fraud
* Hacking

Thanks but I don't have any of that stuff on our forum. It is 2 off road clubs. If some part is bad How can I fix it if some one dose not tell me what is bad?

As I said I don't really know what's the problem. FM's litigation team sends those messages and there is no way of finding out what is wrong with your forum at this moment.

If you have any hidden sections on your forum that include any of those things FM is able to access it and see it, you have to remove it.

We have a Adult Play Ground with joke and one with girls in bikinis but no nude stuff. Could that be it?

Yes. That can present a problem though I can't be certain what it is.

Can some one tell me. A female member on our forum stated it so I think it is o.k. like I stated there are no nude photos so if that is the problem than I will remove it. I would just like for some one to tell me please.

Hi, as Nera has said, we can't tell you specifically what part of the terms of service your forum is breaking because we're not part of the litigation team.

However in your case, it is best to remove anything that may be considered unsuitable for minors and to keep everything to a 'PG-13' rating.

There are no minors on my site and this can't be seen by any one but registered users. Our forum members are at least 18, to go off road and out of town with us. The photos in that section have no x rated things showing.

When it reached 0 your forum will be inspected and if they find the problem removed you wont be shot down.

There is no way of finding out what it is. It's not a small thing though. You would not get the message if the forum is not in violation. Either the section for adults is not so harmless (disrigarding the fact it is closed for minors it's still forbiden to have it on an FM forum) either you have download sections or Copyright infringment issues, something like that are the most common violations.

I registered on your forum and don't see any download section unless they are hidden. The only thing I still DO see is the Adult section. Wink

If that's all you have on your forum than it should be the problem. Be aware that it's only my personal opinion and that the problem can be something else.

They did not even though the section can be missinterprutated but if there is no download or copywright issues on your forum I can't think of what else could it be. But as said be aware that it's only my personal opinion and that the problem can be something else. I don't really know.

And an advise, if you did have something, don't just hide it, delete it, FM is able to access all sections of your forum.
