how to upload html vertivication google in forum?
This is my vertivication:
1. Download this HTML verification file. [googleb1e5a0e28373bc22.html]

2. Upload the file to http://animefreaks.indonesianforum.net/

3. Confirm successful upload by visiting http://animefreaks.indonesianforum.net/googleb1e5a0e28373bc22.html in your browser.

4. Click Verify below.

To stay verified, don't remove the HTML file, even after verification succeeds.

I have done the same thing, and was confused, You have to add it to your HTML under Module, and then add it to your homepage I think

Hi,

As hungergamesforum said, put your HTML code in Administration Panel > Modules > HTML and Javascript > HTML pages management.

But I don't really see what this code is supposed to do...

Hi,

Currently you cannot upload a HTML file to your forum. Because Google use the link that been generated right there to verify it, so you only hope to verify it is using META TAG found in the Search Engine tab.

Hi,

To verify using META TAG.

1. Go back to the Verify ownership section and select Alternate methods, not Recommended.
2. select "Add a meta tag to your site's home page"
3. Once you select it, Google will provide you a META TAG which want you to insert to your page'.

(meta name="google-site-verification" content="CODE")

4. Go back to your forum, login and access to your Admin Panel.
5. Go to General > Search engines, Scroll down to find Additional tags section.
6. Click Add

, Ensure the tab select "Create a 'Meta' Tag type" then hit Select
7. The Control Panel will provide 2 space where you shall enter the META TAG.
8. Insert the meta tag to the following space. Don not paste whole code which can easily confuse to the Verify bot. Separate it.

"name" attribute: google-site-verification
"content" attribute: "THE CODE WHICH GENERATED BY GOOGLE INSIDE THE META TAG".

After you insert it look like this

"name" attribute: google-site-verification
"content" attribute: BXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXA (Censored to prevent hacked)

After you done, hit Add.

9. Visit back to the Verify ownership section and hit verify.

They you go, you forum has been verify by Google, now wait Google send BOT to your forum to gather data.

Hi,
I included a Screenshot taken from me to make it understand.

For Number 2: select the first button.
For Number 3: Google will self generate a code which need you to insert to your forum.
