I was wondering is there anyway for someone to make a forum post then make it only show when a admin or moderator has approved it?

There is not an native option for doing this, but you can do it playing with permissions (create a section in wich users can create topics but cant see it, and create a link to the post creation URL, so your users will post into a section that they cant see, but it exists.

I am trying to make a "private" forum and am having trouble trying to make it so that new registering users must be approved by the admin in order to view and/or post on the created forum.
