Editing copyrights

Iv'e just spent 1,000 credits to disable the copyrights for 12 months, but i would like to remove the Contact and the Statistic links from the footer... the reason being to remove the Contact is to stop anyone sending annoying emails and i find the Statistics link pointless for me.
Any ideas on how to remove the 2 links pictured below?

go to Admin panel -> General -> messages and emails ->emails and contact form -> scrol down and under contact form -> active select no
this way it will stop people using the contact form to contact you

Thank you tdbnz, that worked and i figured out that you can set view the Statistics for Administrators only.
