Ability to turn off nested quotes...

It appears that all Forumotion forums come with nested quoting as a default. I've tried finding ways to turn this off, but there apparently aren't any. The problem we're experiencing, as I'm sure many others are as well, is that the longer a topic goes, the larger the quotes get in the process. Some members do go in and trim them by hand, but the majority don't.

It would be helpful if there was a way for the admin to be able to turn this off, so that only one quote is posted at a time. If User2 quotes User1, and then User3 quotes User2, only the post from User2 should show up in User3's post.

... Or is there a way to do this, and I'm overlooking how to do it?

I voted yes.

I cant stand nested quotes.

I tried messing with this option:

'Quote limit at : 0 = Unlimited '

.....but doesnt have any effect.

What does this option actually do?
