Credits Management First Descritption The credits management allows the founder to change the services and to upgrade features of his forum through a unique interface. Credits are the global currency on forumotion. You can purchase them through paypal or Allopass. If your forum has enough credits, you can spend them on the following features:
Purchasing Credits First thing to note, would be that only the founder can see this options in the admin panel - all other "normal" admin won't. The founder can purchase points through the admin panel ("Misc >> Credits Management >> Buy Credits"). The supported methods are through Allopass (SMS or phone, depends on your country) or PayPal. By telephone / SMS via Allopass You simply need to click on the flag of the country in which you are in and obtain a number to call. During this call, you'll obtain an Allopass code, that'll you'll have to put in the interface of your points management in the appropriate field. you shall then be credited 100 points. By Credit Card via Paypal After you have chosen your currency and the desired amount of credits (by either selecting a preset value from the dropdown list or by directly entering a value), you will have acces to the Paypal interface. Fill in the different fields and validate. Your credits will be added soon after the transaction - this can probably need some time. Donations Members can also contribute to your forum by donating credits. The money used for this donation will be directly converted into forum credits - you don't recieve the "real" money. Every member can access the donation page through this link: http://your_forum_url/donate.forum
A link to this page will also be displayed in the forum's overall footer at the bottom of each page if the founder has enabled this option in the admin panel (Misc >> Credits Management >> Donations >> set "Display link..." to YES). The procedure of buying and donating credits is the same as if you'd purchase them through the admin panel - as explained above. Spend your credits By visiting the "Misc / Credits Management / Spend Credits" tab in your admin panel, you can upgrade your forum with your current amount of credits. You can...
Remove the ads "Misc >> Credits Management >> Spend Credits >> Ads" Two options are available: 1. Add time in which advertisements are disabled for members only. 2. Add time in which advertisements are disabled for both members and guests. Increase the gallery storage "Misc >> Credits Management >> Spend Credits >> Storage" 1. Increase the storage space for your gallery. By default, you have 10MB at hand for free. Buy a custom domain name "Misc >> Credits Management >> Spend Credits >> Domain Name" Please visit our tutorial about custom domains [LINK] Buy a custom domain name "Misc >> Credits Management >> Spend Credits >> Templates" You can edit here many aspects of the basic HTML structure to customize your forum even more. Some HTML knowledge is highly recommended if you want to edit things here. Important It is not possible to remove already purchased credits. It's also not possible to transfer them to another forum.
