need help with making black side bars for this logo

I want to make it fit on my forum, help is really appreciated, it nees to have black on the sides so it fits perfectly. but I want to keep the image quality

well I think around 1150 wide... I am not sure it has to fit in the top

i guess i am, dont over take your privlidges now that your a mod, if you read through the topic and keep up on it, likei have been since iwant to see how it turns out, than u will see, the banner posted was already on his site, he wants black sides added to it, which hasnt been done. and martin just resized the pic so he could see the whole thing, that is why the question in size came in before martin could even finish it.
i see graphic designer under ur name, not moderator.. so help the people out that need help on graphics and quit worrying about running this place

first off the request is long over... this was even handled via PM... maximento has got the banner as he wanted on the site already. all he wanted was a smaller size.
