Why not have awards that Admin's and Moderators can give out that is depended upon Forumotion and the forums staff. You can have the stuff by Forumotion like most active and top poster but then you can give out awards like Most Helpful and stuff that only your forum has like if you had a Mario Kart torunament you can have Mario Kart Winner Award. Sound good?

Could this just be done through personalized profiles? I have photography contests in my forum and I give ribbons to the top three people, the ribbons show up in their profiles, it sounds similar. Check out this thread discussing what personalized profiles are and how they work.

Go look at my forum and pretty much any post will have somebody with ribbons. See if that is what you are trying to do. If so, when you create the personalized profile make it rich html and then you just go edit their profiles and add the images, or basically any html, to get it to show up for that user.
