oh and for those who happen not to know much of this....its about a box/section/column or whatever where u simply type ur name (or it auto takes ur log in one)type what ever u wanna SHOUT! and its stays there for all to see

You can get one and add it to the HTML Pages. It's not exactly neccessary for use.

But I guess I support it since a Forumotion one would be ideal.

A forumotion on would be ideal, but a chatbox in a widget wouldnt? I thought you have no use for them?

Those are chatboxxes.

Chatboxxes and Shoutboxxes differ.

One is meant for saying a shout out like "YO so and so rules!"

Chatboxxes are meant to steal users away a place to chat. At least this is the way I have always seen em. And chatboxxes have always hurt my sites so I have always been against em.

No.Its another thing the chat box and other the shout box.As you already said a chat box is for chat while a shout box is just to leave something shouted there so everyone can see without having to join a box and open a diffirent window through this.

Its just for something that is not needed to be opened in a post,like a notification or a moment's loud thought and it stays there till other shouts scroll it down to disappear.

Chat box is just a chat box and u need to join it through a diffirent window and what u mite say there doesnt stay till u leave the box...In other words you cant use it to just leave a reminder to members or whatever.

Oh I understand KQ and I like this idea a lot! I just misunderstood your posts initially. I apoligise for that.
