I was hoping that a forum can be created here so that members can post a link to their forum and have others critique it, and give other feedback.

YES YES YES, I did not know to till the other day that the "Forum promotion" was only allowed one post...

This is totally needed.

I think it would be a good idea. That way others can give their feedback on your forum, maybe what could improve it etc. Smile

You know, you have the forum promotion to promote your forum and you can discuss by pm.Wink

I don't vote now ^^

We don't want to "promote" our forum(s) but get feed back from others on how it looks, what needs to be changed/added.

Honestly, the forum promotion forum here is irrevelant as you can "promote" you site through the Forums Directory located in the homepage in the admin panel. What the promotion forum here does is basically the same as the diretory.

Besides dear friend, all the cool sites have them:verygood:

I agree, a section where we can get feedback on our sites is a very good idea. The forum promotion section here is a little restrictive, so this would be a good addition.

Sometimes it's good to get immediate feedback for your site in a public domain, so ideas can be bounced off one another. To do this by PM wouldn't be as effective, and to be honest, quite annoying. It would be a little odd getting a PM from a random person saying "Can you look at my forum and review it?"

So yes, I'm for this idea.

You're right Xaphania

At the present time, we don't allow comments because some members posts for flooding, there is no real feed-back in their posts, no interests.

Why not allow a feed-back in the forum promotion, but without abuses Wink
