Need help with making awards

I would appreciate any help with this.
I have found a animated gif of a trophy. My problem is I do not know how to add text without ruining it.I like the fact that it is animated. I am completely new at this. Please someone help.
Nature of the creation : awards
Creation size (in pixels) : 100*100
With or without animation : Without animation please. pic is already animated
Background color : white

Text to insert : Most levels gained in Agility
Link to the font to download : You can choose the font.
Font color : Black

Extra comments : Would it be possible if I could see/ learn how the text was added to the animatec pic? I have more I would like to make, since the total would be 41 different awards, I think it would be best if I learn how to do it myself.

Theres a few programmes for what you want, if you google. GIF editing programmes allowing you to add text etc.
