I would like to have an option to lessen the time on the flood control thing, or to be able to remove the flood control completely, so that people don't have to wait so long between posts.
And also to have the post redirection thing (after you post then the window comes up to say thank you for posting and you have a choice of two links to click) removed so that after posting you'll immediately go to your post, like how invision or vbulletin has.
What do you think?
p.s. sorry if my thread don't seem to make sense.

No,
I like things as they are now, I hardly see how THIS idea will benefit people.

Some people are fast typers, they can't wait half a minute to be able to post again, hence the flood control removal, the same goes for the post redirection thing.

No, I personally have never had this problem on all the forums I go on and non of my members have had this problem either. If they do, simple tell them to slow down lol

I'm suggesting a control on how many post a member can post in 24 hours ..
due to recent occurance of spammers ... this has become a necessity
This should allow a Admin to set how many post one single member or all members can post in next 24 hours~
coming from a site that used to use Invision Powerboards these are some options that I miss from there
on Invison Powerboards the flood control option is managed by the admins. My board at times is pretty active and having the option of self managing
