I wanted to suggest this, since sometime. Some members have been saying that people keep spamming etc on the boards without searching. But the truth is the search query itself, does not always gives the exact results which you would like.
The FAQ, tips & tricks need to be updated. With simple questions like
1) How to set Maximum Avatar Size?
2) A tutorial explaining the colors of the forum. The link provided earlier, does not exist anymore.
3) How to add a forum banner?
4) How to make forums & categories look like xyz, giving screenshots of that xyz kinds.(Structure & Hierarchy)
5) How to make tables in a post
Like these, there can be many more questions which everyone could think of.
These kind of simple questions i feel are required. So that when users use the FAQ or tips & tricks, by doing ctrl+ F5 & searching, they get the clickable link to a certain thread. Tutorials can be made for these things. I am sure some of the members who have been on here for quite sometime would be ready to make such kinda posts.
I don't know if this suggestion will have any effect or not, don't know if a poll is required or not for this.
Thats all for now, what do the staff members think?
Edit: Poll is added.

If there were a poll for this I'd vote yes. I was just checking that out today too and thought it could use a few things, there were at least 3 tutorials on the domain as bought through forumotion but no tutorials on how to change avatar size. I see a few good suggestions on there so, yes...

Cahliem should make a FAQ from maybe a wiki script but only he can change the stuff. It would make it
1/ More easier to look through
2/ More professinal than just the threads.
3/ More better and people would want to look through it more instead of asking that same question thats obvious to find.

Prince caspian, are you aware that this is spifically for an updated FQU tips and tricks, not :add this to" basically what im saying is: THAT POST WAS SPAM! (sorry about being similar to a mod, its just i needed to state the obvious, Sorry)
Yes, i personally think that the FAQ listing should be updated and something actually added in because their links arn't there, however words are, just not linked to anything.
And theres been a few new things brought in that are not added into the FAQ listing.

I agree.
And we should just go ahead and make some tutorials with screen shots included and pm them to Caihlem

Can't we just first make a list of questions which need to be addressed?
Then some of the members can split up the work between themselves. It will save time & be efficient use of those member's time, since it will avoid double tutorials.
