Hi

I was thinking it may be a good idea to have a search bar in the admin panel, for example if you are looking to change something but can't remember where you found it you can put a keyword in the search bar and it would take you to the particular section.

I don't expect the people who are used to the admin panel would use it much but it would sure help out the new people.

I the people(and myself) using this, but a tutorial on the admin panel (in which i am working on) would be alot more understanding.

I can atually see the newer users using this more than any FAQ listing, and i also see that this is actually quite a good suggestion for the admin panel.

I'm voting a solid yes.

I voted no. I don't think its really required. If you spend about 10 minutes just clicking around in the admin panel a day, you'll soon know where everything is.

I personally don't need it, as I already know where 95% of the options are found.

That administration panel is very easy to use compared to others.

I vote no.

Sorry I vote no. If you just spend time and look on what things do you will know where stuff is. Also that's why forumotion has a FAQ Wink

Voted No, and 3 members above me already said what had to be said. Plus - as an administrator you HAVE TO know where the things are in your admin panel.

Like I said, people who know where things are may not use it much, but it would help new people a lot. If they were looking to change the header for example, instead of asking here, they could simply type in header and be taken to that section - chances are once they were there they would know what to do.

Yes i agree as well. I do understand that the admins need to know where everything is located. But when you are new there are a lot of options and finding one can be a pain until you get used to it. I am voting yes as well.

So, what do you think? Same like Admin CP, just less features! For exapmle, you have GFX Mod, and he will have only Styles in his "Moderator CP"!
So I promoted the member to rank of admin, she logged out and back in. Her profile says admin but she can't see the link suggestions?
Hello everybody Today, I want to suggest this feature for forums. It's a unique password for the admin panel. Currently we can put the option "Confirm password to administration access" in: PA => General => Securiy =>
