Quick suggestion, wheter you make it paid or not it would be cool if we had site e-mail, example below

sites name is Jeremysboard e-mail >> jeremy@jeremysboard.com

I think it'd be awesome but it would have to have the name of the board for instance my link is http://www.mommahaven.goodforum.net it would be the part of the link YOU PICKED OUT so my link would be Isabel@mommahaven.com since Isabel is my login on my site. And free would be even MORE better Wink

Yes, could the site atleast have about 5 emails or something, instead of having to create a yahoo account for your site to use seperately??

This is a good idea the email feature.

To avoid confusion of having to change email address, you could only give it to people who pay, could give up to 5 the most or something, this is a very good feature and should be looked into.

I voted against, because i think that pm are doing just the job. Why would another e-mail adress would be great? I don,t really see the point.

it would just be a good feature. it could also be a sorta advertising thing, saying
hey this is my email: myemail@myforum.com and so the person thinks hey i need a new email provider or wow thats a pretty cool name.

good idea but the address (because we r using sub-domain names) will be long like xxx@board.forumotion.com.. so long..and i already have my own domain name Smile

, so if someone is interested will vote for you, but if the editboard makes the domainname itself can beused withought the name of the forum that would be great as it will be shorter..

i have nothing against it. i think its a good idea. for me it doesnt matter tho coz as Geo said, we are using subdomain names but i will be getting a paid domain name here as soon as i have plenty of members in my forum so i think the suggestion is really cool. Smile

Yeah, this seems like a great idea. Might need more servers but we could definitely benefit from this. Could have the email inbox built into the admin panel ^^

well, what i do is:

you know how your email address is used when you receive a PM?

well, i change my actuall email addres [which is punkfilter@yahoo.com] to punkfilter@narutorpg.com

i won't be able to get rplies, but hell, why would i want to hear from my users anyways?

this is a very good idea. editboard/forumotion should include forum@forum.forumotion.com so they could advertise or whatever.

I love that idea!! Then I wouldn't have to hide my real email address anymore. But since my forum address is http://poshprincesspalace.site-forums.com/index.htm would my email address be poshprincesspalace@sitefoums.com?

I vote for yes!... I love sending newsletters and I really wanted to show my email there, or show at least who's sending the newsletter. I already have my own email with my own domain, but It would've been better when I send emails, it would show.

Good Idea, but e-mail address will be too long , because we use sub-domains.
