[hitskin suggestion] search by user or skin name

I think this is the appropriate place to suggest this?

Id like to suggest for hitskin that we could be able to search by username or by skin name.

I'm sure alot of people (myself included) find it annoying to go through 19 pages to skins that you dislike, or mis-categorized to find just the 1 skin that you know the name of or the user that made it.

Opinions? suggestions? all welcome Smile

Voted YES! This is the most annoying thing for me in hitskin but i go to hitskin very few times so it doesn't matter to me that much but the search feature really needs to be updated !!

Voted yes. I was wondering why they dont have this option at the first time i was browsing for appropriate skin. When i was about to use it or compare it, i had to click through pages and pages of skins to find "my" skin.

Yes for me. I too don't like having to sort through pages upon pages of skins just to find one that you're looking for.

I'll say yes for name searching... the user search can be done...
just click the popular or latest link on hitskin and locate a theme by your favorite artist then click the username to see all the themes he/she/it created

I suggested to search by user because when I looked to see if that option was available, it wasn't showing up?

I dont think he understood what you wanted to propose. You have stated that the search should be done by SEARCHING by the artists name : typing "Tarogasini" ( example ) should throw out all themes made by that artist. What Jalokim said is that you should first find a theme by particular artist to click his name, to get the list of his themes. How about if someone says this : "hey i heard that some artist named "blabla" is very good, go check him out"... Just a thought.

Yes! I too don't like having to search through pages of Hitskin just to find the one theme that I know the name of but have forgotten the who had made it. Or, I know of the artist but forget the name of the theme. So, having the option to search either by artist name or by theme name would be very useful in my opinion. Smile
