Allow backup of mysql. If not free then paid.
I have read terms and conditions very carefully which clearly says that a forum admin can not ask for mysql backup due to security reasons.

But in future i would like to have this feature.

I LOVE FORUMOTION Love

I had read that earlier...
i know that all the mysql database are property of forumotion.com
But as its the property of forumotion.com one can buy it by paying the price as decided by forumotion.com Admin and team.

I'm sorry, but you cannot do that either.

Darren is right, forumotion policies don't allow having a backup even by paying.

I know that the policies dont allow the sale of sql data to any Forum admin.
("this is due to security reason" - I read this some where)

But the point I am raising here is that if in future ( I am not talking for next few months) if anything make this possible for forumotion team then do it.
Thats my point. I am not saying make mysql downloadable asap. Just do this whenever possible - may be a year later or some years later.

Add a poll with a Yes or a NO by editing the first post of this thread if it has not been already suggested.

Forumotion are losing out on a huge potential earner here, one of the other forum providers I use charge 30 dollars for a copy of your database.

With yet another free forum provider I use its a totally free backup straight from your acp, no adverts anywhere and fully functional with many features we have to ask for here.
But without the database of the forum I have here useless.
