is it a good idea to use an ftp client with our forums??

No, we can't acces to the files of our forum and I think we won't, for security reasons

we should use ftp client in our forums and portal . it will be a good idea!!

I'm not sure I understand what you are asking, exactly. I know what an FTP client is, but in what way are you wanting to use it in the forums/portal? So we can allow members to upload things directly from other members? So we can have access to our forumotion database (which is a no-go)? Could you please explain further before I vote yay or nay? Thanks.
