this is proly will be easy to do
my suggustion is
for our forum can beable to
put password on topic meaning like a
pirvate sub forum or topic
like for all my mod and admin need there privatesy
and to make the room for admin and mod only so
when a normal member enter it will say
you havent got premission to enter this forum
stuff like at
sub port me and vote yes if you like it
and plus if a member want a private forum
it come up with a password area for them to enter
the owner of the sub private forum can give out the password to a friend or anyone them trust

Make special area visible only to administrators and moderators. No need of this, sorry.
Plus : your password could circle around the members and more people then they should could access that area.

any features on forumotion will work on all styles fyi, they all run of the same forum software, when u change 'version', all you cxhange is looks.

I really don't agree with this...But I didn't vote yet.Am still thinking.You can make your forum not visable to the others,instead of giving a password to type in.But when I decide on yes or no,i'll vote and say.

im not mean that to make it visable i meaning for private sub forum like people who want a password forum i can make it for them it only annoying at i have to set premission for like of admin and mod only

I like the idea. I know what it's like when certain members would like to have their own private forum or topic for their private RPG or whatnot. If they can get a private forum or subforum and also be able to password protect topics themselves, then that would be great since they won't have to be included in the Admin/Mod group.

when you make a forum you can add a password. you don't have to fill it in. "leve it as a blank for no password"
you will have to type in the password before you go in. if you get the password right it will take you to the forum.
