Number Post count in a thread

I had mentioned this a while back and was told the feature was not in existence and I should do a suggestion so here I am lol..........
In my group we make tags for hitting certain numbers in a post. Like some games every 25th post gets a new tag or every 50th and so on. We are a psp (Paint shop Pro) group and we make tags for enjoyment as prizes.
We are MSN groups castaways and One feature we miss is the post count. I know you can tell how many post are on a page but it is so much easier just to say oh hey there is post 25 that person gets a tag.
I hope this makes sense and I hope some like it enough to get it in the works.....

I've seen this feature on smf forums.
It should be able to be implemented on phpbb.
I suggest their Be a button in options that you can choose that will disable the post count for users so that when a users posts something, their "Posts:" will not rise.
