You know the voting system? Well I find anyone can make a new account and just vote when you put a poll up. To restrict multiple account votes, can't we restrict some polls to users having "a specific rank" or something to vote? This should reduce "abused votes". This is mainly used for contests like who won the contest of "making the best banner" and others.
(Example if you still don't get what I mean: An improved voting system in which can prevent 1 person making 4 multiple non-posting accounts to vote for something in a topic.)

I think when we vote on a poll, we get that small, loading symbolization image to sort of explain that it's processing. I am quite sure this hasn't been suggested.
