A totally different password for Adminstrators to access the Administrator panel.
Okay, so you know how you can verify your password to enter the Admin Panel? Well i was suggesting that we could set a different password to enter, like if my log in password was (Cheese) i wouldn't enter that to enter the panel you would enter something else (CheeseCake)
Get it?
By the way, (cheese) is not my password.
EDIT: This will be an optition to turn this On and Off in the ACP

If you mean having to log in to the Administration Panel, it's already possible.
Administration Panel (Advanced mode) > General > Security > Confirm password to administration access : > Hit 'Yes', Hit save.

No, not like confirming the password, but setting a different password. Confirming your password is te one you log in with, was thinking like a different password beside the one that you log in with.

What Kinko is suggesting is that we have a separate password for the admin panel.
IE: to enter the forum we use cheese, and to enter the panel, we use a new password - cheesecake.
Personally, I like the moral and forground of this suggestion, and I was going to suggest it a few months back, but didnt
=> yes.
however I myself have too many passwords as it is now.

You can always use the same password for everything,
This is a waste of time and it's a feature of vBulletin,but I'll support your suggestion Kinko,since it will increase the protection of our forums,
