This function is always on. And could be a problem. Too much e-mails. So I would suggest to make available to admin, to change default value for that option. People mostly don't want to be notified about replies, and can set it on when they want it. But it is annoying if you must turn it off every time you make topic...

Users can manage this in the Preferences section of their profiles.

I know, but admin should have a power to change default setting. Not explain that to every single user.

Just make an announcement somewhere about how to manage it.

I did that, because there is no other option, but still... it is all in choice. I would like to have it.
