Hey Guys,
I know, from first hand experience, that it is VERY annoying, having to type in your forum user name to log in, especially if its very long. So, is it possible, to have a user name, and a display name?
For Example, on these forums, my login name could be chocolate, and my Display name be Arden Marshall?
I think it would make our lives MUUUUUUUUCH easier.

...Then the Administrator tells him. The login name CAN be your real name, but its just a trek to write the WHOOOOLLE thing out every time, when you could just type qwerty, for example

Ok, i just had another thought about this. Because you're worried about forgetting your username, what about an Auto number? So, the second person to register for the forums would be:
User ID: 0002
Password:********
What do you think of that? It doesn't even need to be 0002, it could just be 2. And it goes up automatically, so the next person to register is 3, or 0003. You get me? I think its a good idea

Voted yes. No one forgets their usernames so no worries there! Unless.. you use different usernames for different sites

I disagree with this, I prefer to use one name because several names instead of one would be too confusing. Plus I don't like to use my real name anywhere on the internet. Voted no.

But what if the site says that you must use your first and last name, or first name and make up a last name, if you worry about security?

Then get the add-on to remember your user and pass for FF.
