Inotia Forum Review

Graphics:

Nav Buttons:Good job on those they look alright and all of them lead somewhere. My only state of confusion is about the fact that I am a guest and I see the registration button and an "on" button next to it. If it is meant to indicate that I am online it is wrong, if it is meant to indicate that I am to log in it is confusing. (Score: 8/10)

Banner:The banner independently is very good, but what you did in general was leech the banner from somewhere and set it as your logo. It doesn't say what the forum is about. (Score: 5/10)

Colors: The general colors of the forum stay themed all the way through. Unfortunatley I will I can't give you a perfect grade because of the fact that your forum is cute and cuddly based whilst "Inotia" seems to be this epic adventure game. It just doesn't fit well. (Score: 7/10)

Display/Layout:

Organization: The forum seems organized enough to the eye but a scan through your categories and you can tell they aren't placed in order of importance. (Score: 9/10)

Categories & Forums: Although the categories are not in order of importance to the member the forums are. As well as this I reccomend that you delete "Forum Games" and "OT" because that is where members who have 500 posts drop down to about 10. (Score: 5/10)

Index & Portal Appearance:The home page throws me off simply because it does not match the banner and the Portal is too empty... (Score: 7/10)

Language: Although your members didn't use sms talk they all seemed like they didn't have a range of vocabulary. Most important though is for staff to have a good play with words and a firm vocabulary so they can assist members. (Score: /5)

Staff Population: For a forum more based on spam than on your designated subject you seem to have the perfect amount of staff members. (Score: 5/5)

Staff Activity & Moderation: I have desperately looked through several staff to give you points somewhere but I can't bring myself to give you a decent grade. First off the "Founder" has 50 posts and about two of them moderating in a sea of 4521 messages. Then we have Forgotten from what I see he owns the forums more than the founder, he has a fourth of all the posts but one thing they have in common is the fact that neither id moderating. One is on i pod touch forums and the either has disappeared. (Score: 2/5)

Staff Groups: You staff groups fit fine...If only they did something!! (Score: 4/5)

Forum Date & Activity: There being several posts you would excpect one to give you a perfect grade. Alas this cannot be done because being the genius I am I looked up the top 20 posters. The 20th highest poster in a group of 150 odd or so members has 11 posts. Meaning all the 120 members left have 11 or less. (Score: 2/5)

Daily Posts & Threads:Your top 5 posters are the only thing that keeps the forum alive and running. Thank them for these points because if they were not there your forum would shrivel up. (Score: 4/5)

I have been trying to get members to post more. Thats why there is a competitions forum.
