Avatars::
They are customizable characters, you make bases for them and items (that go in shops) and you can get the items and users can put them on their avatars.
Ex:: Nulavatar; used for phpBB2.
Shops::
A place for users to buy items with the currency they earn from posting.
These are used on sites like::
Gaiaonline and Roliana

A Yes/No poll would be quite nice.
I like the Avatars idea, but why can't we just get one from IMVU and say that's our avatar character?
The Shops idea has been suggested and is still pending.

I mean that the avatar character idea doesn't suit much for ForuMotion. It's not really needed, and that's more of a SMF thing. You can just go to IMVU.com and make your own vitual character.

But there is a point system that is just kinda there... And a lot of people like to create sites with customizable avatars, but they can't because they don't know how to code phpBB and having a MOD on here for it would make it so people could do that without having to find someone to code.

I personally think that the avatar idea is something more for SMF, not ForuMotion. I'll vote once I see more users replying and voting, though.

i love it i liked a shop like you buy vip passes or like a badge for your posts like a little badge you can buy or buy stuff i love it

well on the forums you can add a point system and i think there should be a way of using those points to buy stuff off the forums like little internet pets or something like that, good idea?
Sorry for putting this thread in the wrong spot. Anyway.
I think that there should be a Cash and Shop mod on the forums. Each time you post, you get a point (dollar) and then you can goto the shop and buy avatars, and effects for your names....
I think that there should be point shops which you guys might have waited until you made a point shop feuture in each forum before releasing the point system. I think you guys might be able to do it like this. When you click on the buy button and you guys
