I was thinking about a bot specially made for forums to figure out illegal contents,spams..etc and delete them immediately as soon as it detects..and also a option should be included in the control panel to activate or de-activate the bot,it should be customizable like the security level of the bot

so basically... a bot that finds the illegal content some users randomly posted... before online guardian finds it and banns your forum

yes

This is going to be very hard to implement. Obviously yes, but how are you going to do this? How is a bot going to search a forum for a wide range of stuff?

Seems like dotDavid you took this idea, & added things to make your own suggestion. However, the question still remains. How?

well i think the idea is have it so that the Webmaster or owner of the forum can set up a specific time and date for it to read over a forum. Probably have it set up so it can looked over it either every 30 minutes to an hour depending on the forums activity rating. But either way its best to check it for bugs so it doesn't go delete things that dont need to be deleted.

or maybe activate it run manually... to a time you want...
let it search for all topics since last use that somewhat would some suspicious content...
and give a list of all posts/topics... that you can then go through and check if its really illegal content...
i dont think the bot should be able to delete anything at all

That could be implemented, however think that there are embedded URL's.

There will still be many of them. Its still a pain to check them, having something just reduces the work a little. However, gives more work to the admin. Will you hire more admins then?

i already have like 5 admins who do the work but since i'm updating my forum to its second version i have to hire new admins anyway so its not like it'll make any difference Razz

Back to topic, we still have not figured out a correct way to implement it.
13 Eman and Kou, on 30/08/2009 at 19h42
well have it so it check the link as well. its like something similar to how AVG, and Norton check links before you click them and see if they are hazardous or not.
14 Sanket, on 30/08/2009 at 19h59
We were talking about illegal content & Spams.

Hazardous links, you already have antiviruses to check that.
15 Eman and Kou, on 30/08/2009 at 20h02
well spam is already taken care of by the forums flood control which any webmaster can set up. But i was saying it can check the illegal content the same way that an antivirus checks hazardous links
