Hello,

I would like to suggest that forum owners should have the right to purchase more html pages for their forum.

This could be done Via Credits Management.

Administration Panel=>Misc Tab=>Credits Management=>Spend Credits=>

From there, there should be a new option asking if we would like to purchase more html pages for our forums.

You see, 127 html pages are not enough if you would like a big website and a forum to be hosted by forumotion, instead of having a normal website and a forum hosted on two different hosts...

So, if we would be allowed to purchase more html pages for our forum, then we wouldn't have to build a normal website and have a forum from forumotion using two different url addresses...

So, what do you guys think?

I rarely see members having up to that many HTML pages on their forum. Is this really neccessary? Lol.

It's just an extra option for people who would like more html pages on their forum.

If they want, they can buy more using credits, or if they don't need any, then they don't need to buy it.

Since we are limited to buy much things using credits management, if we have alot of money on our forum, and we already have a domain name, what else can we buy???

~Domain name ( Talked about it already )
~Gallery Storage ( Is the only thing we need to buy )

So, it would be just like gallery storage... We should be able to pay for more,lol.

I agree. It'd be easy enough for a dedicated forum host to want to buy more pages, right? So whyn't let them? I think its quite understandable.

Although I don't completely agree with the idea I voted yes.

I DO like the idea of more pages being bought through credits, its fair for the forum. Those who complain about forumotions "limitations" are just whiners, this is an excellent host for it being FREE. There are plenty of others that are free and aren't NEARLY as good as forumotion.

Its your money and you end up helping forumotion. So what the heck Smile

I have two sites as well, one is pure content and the other is the forumotion board, I just interlink both sites and everything is perfectly fine. So I have no use for this, I don't find it annoying to use two hosts and if you decide to choose similar URLs it almost can be considered one site (e.g you have website k9site.com, you create a forum using k9site.dogboard.com).

Well enough said, if you guys really need it I don't mind helping Hello

I currently have 29 HTML pages, and will be using more. I read in the FAQ that the limit is 127 per forum, and that's quite a bit.

While I don't know that I'd ever need that many, and am grateful for all of the options (FREE no less!) and the assistance by the forum staff here, I think this would be a neat option.

I don't know what to pick, if yes, people who are rich can just pay and pay to get their forum beutiful with lots of html pages and its unfair to people who don't have any money, if yes, it will also be good, but i'll go with no.

You do not have to be rich to purchase html pages for your forum, Wink

And, if they keep buying html pages, and they have no content on their forum, then what can they do with it?

And, for poor people, do you think that they will be able to afford a computer?

I'd pay for FTP access ... that way i can load a million htmls, javascript and css

everything directly hosted...
No photobucket expired pics ,
no "webs.com is down your javascript don't work"
unlimited everything.

I'd give 5000 credits for that...
but a fair price for FTp should be 2000

The problem that I find I'm running into is the amount of content I can put on one page. And, when I try to make a new page, i'm getting errors that just say "Error page_html".... a little frustrating....
