You can create your own donation link via a PayPal link to your account so guests can donate real money. Of course through this if guests did donate to you then you wouldn't actually earn any points to spend on a domain name or something, but you can still use the "real money" to do exactly that. Just go to the Misc. tab in the Administration Panel.
