If I quote a piece of text using the quote options,
eg.
It shows the opening quotation marks but not the closing quotation marks. I think most other forums just put the quotation in a box, but if there's going to be big opening quotation marks, not having closing quotation marks make it look like the quotation isn't complete.
eg. "this is some quoted text"
instead of "this is some quoted text
eg.
this is some quoted text

Use phpbb2 or punbb (I prefer punbb) and you can change the images! Or use CSS with phpbb 3 or invision.. if you have that.
Also you forgot a poll in this thread!

I can't even say I've ever noticed that.

It's not the most important thing. I just thought it made quotations looks incomplete/odd (since whenever someone quotes someone else eg. in an article it's usual to put closing as well as opening quotation marks around the quotation) and that it might be easy to fix/change. I'm surprised that this thread is getting all the replies and no replies to my thread about improving polls (called "more poll options" - it's not just about adding more poll 'options' it's about more things you could do with polls/more functionality).
It's not too bad if closing quotes can't be added, maybe it would be easier to remove the opening quotes? eg. another forum just says Quote: and then below that has the box with the quotation, which means it doesn't look incomplete. But it's not the worse thing if it can't be changed (I just thought it might be an easy change) as other things would probably be better things (eg. more functionality in polls etc.).

Never noticed this before to be honest, but what's the point in adding one more quotation mark anyway? It already feels right in the quote tags, so it doesn't really matter. It would take under 10 seconds to add in just one more, though.

Sorry but for many users, this is a low priority request.
