Garage Feature

Hello,
I propose the addition of the Garage feature to our boards, especially those that are automobile clubs. The Garage is a MODification to phpBB that allows users to store information about there vehicle.
* Modifications
o Type
o Purchased From
o Installed By
o Description
o Ratings
* Insurance Data
o Premiums
o Cover Type
o Company
* Quartermile Times
* Dyno Runs

I did a search and noticed someone else tried to suggest this idea earlier this year, but they were ignored:

That member was making a suggestion, but for some reason a mod decided it was a support forum question, which it was not.
My board would really appreciate a garage; we might even pay something for the service.

P.S. to the mods: Sorry I first posted this in "Suggestion for the Support Forum", it should have been posted in "Suggestion for Your(My) Forum". BUT... instead of locking the post and making me rekey it, why not just move it to the right location? C'mom mods, let's be proactive! I am!

I'm with rivperformance, I'd love to have the garage feature....unfortunately, it seems there is only 3 of us who thinks so lol
Is there anyway that we could implement it ourselves, on our forums? Or is it something, we as mere 'users', don't have control over?

And I voted no. I don't see this being useful for 95% of forumotion users.

Perhaps not to non-car forums, but the poll is to find out if it would be useful to car-related forums

Why would techies work on an update that's only useful to a very select few forums and of no use to the vast majority?

Why not? I don't use all the features that are currently available,on my forum e.g. the role playing stuff, but that doesn't mean that it should not have been provided as a feature.

Ok...so would you rather they have worked on role playing updates or something that you and everyone else could have used?
