Should Forumotion offer installation of MODs in control panel?

Dear Forumotion staff,

I was wondering whether it is possible to install phpbb modifications (MODs) on Forumotion hosted forum? If not, is such feature planned in near future?

How would u get a REAL PHPBB mod added into MODIFIED phpbb/ipb/whatever else they've added in -type of forum?

Yes it is a good idea, however it just can't work out :S

there is just one problem with this suggestion.

Forumotions forums are hand built. They didn't go to phpbb and say can we have a phpbb2 and a phpbb3 forum?

No they built a phpbb2 and 3 forum from scratch using phpbb techology.
thats why we can't install mods from other phpbb site...
same applies to other versions.

the punBB version we have is something inbetween the old punbb and the most recent one.

Well then why can't Forumotion create their own MODs? Mods are easy to create. I know I can't create them, but a ton of members on the PHPBB forums sure know how. They probably use their own technology, but it should be possible for this host to create their own if they just tried. Even if it was just one which was created, it would still be cool to have it.
