Whisper function for Chatbox

I've had a a few people ask me for a whisper function within the chatbox. So I was wondering if this could possibly happen? I know that there is of course a PM system, I just think it'd be a lot more convenient if the option was available. Perhaps if you could just type in the code:
/Whisper USER
And you could talk with privacy. I would also find this helpful when talking to a Mod if something were to occur without leaving the chat box.

PM's are used for this why make a feature that does the same thing?

This is a story I started with my friend Onigiri (using our nicknames). Her character is named Alyce "Onigiri" Kyrya. My character is named Aisu Kuran. This is based off of a graphic novel, Vampire Knight, using some of the actual characters.
