1. First Impressions (Score: 18/20):
   Ok so when i enter your forum you immediatly notice the striking banner which is extremely well designed and stands out alot. And i also noticed that my mouse icon changed, this i think is awesome! Well done on that! Moreover, I see that you have the main forum in the middle with the space either side of the forum as the background, which is also well designed and well thought out. I also see a scrolling message that runs across which tells your members/guests about the forum and anything that they need to see. This is a nice feature to have. I also noticed that you have the snow script and the forum set up for christmas, which you have done very well. You also have a "news table" which is nicely presented above your forum's categoeries which also tells your members about new updates and things they should look out for, very nice! I can also see that you have just 1 categoery with 11 forums on it, each forum with an animated picture which is to do with that forum but no forum descriptions. I noticed that you have all your forum widgets on the left hand side which is a nice design aspect! So overall, good first impressions, this really draws any guests in!
   
2. Categories & Forums (Score: 5/10):
   Ok so i noticed that you have 11 forums but no real categoeries, it does look ok but this could be improved by adding categoeries with the apropriate forums underneath, This would make your forum look more organised and easier to navigate, not to mention more proffesional too. You also have an image for each forum which is relevant to what the forum is about although really you need to add some forum descriptions for guests/members to read so that they know what they can post in this forum without having to think about it much. You must make itas easy as possible for a potential member/guest to post in the forum and know that they know where to post thw things they wish to post. Making the forum easy to navigate is vital if you want to keep/gain members in the forum. Also try making regular updates to the forums and mabye add a forum once in a while to keep your members interested in the forum.

   Banner
   Your banner looks very professional and is extremely well thought out and designed, it has 3 main parts to it, The "merry christmas" part (which is a nice design and very easy to read the writing), The main forum logo (which is agian, very well designed and has many nice effects in with sd elements and all that), and a final part saying "Happy New Year" (which is similar to the "merry christmas" Part which makes it look symetrical and organised, very nice feature). Also, i din't know wether it was on purpose but your banner is quite like a story, you have the merry christmas part where you wake up on christmas aday and all that, then you have a girl opening presents, then you have the new year celebration, this is all very good, i dont think you need to change anything on your banner its perfect, well done!
   
   Navigation Bar
   Your navigation bar is also very well designed and the writing shows up well on the pink backdrop of the buttons so the sections of it, plus the text, are very easy to see and read. But i think the navigation bar could possibly be better if it was enlarged, it only needs enlarging a bit but to make it fit with the rest of you theme it needs to be made bigger like the rest of you forum is, at the moment your announcements table/section is bigger than your navigation bar and it shouldn't be. I liked the way that next tothe "log in" button you have a flower pot, this is amazing how you managed to do this, this makes your navigatiob bar look more than just a load of buttons, it makes it a design feature! Good work on the navigation bar, just could be improved if you make it a little bigger, but this is not vital.
   
   
2. Images & Icons (Score: 9/10):
   Ok so your new post, no new post and locked forum icons are nicely animated and designed although its hard to link the images that are on them to the actual meaning of the new post, no new post, and locked things. What i mean is the icon should have some relationship between the image on the icon and what the icon is for (like for a locked forum icon, you could have a cross).It makes it easier to see wether the topic has a new post or not so you dont have to keep scrolling down to see what each icon means. But there is not doubt about there design, it is very good, well done! Ok so now moving on to the topic icons which are the same as the forum icons, there's no problem with this but it is nice to have a different set of icons for the forum and the topics, but its ok how it is. I can't obviously comment on ever animated icon you have for every forum but i can say that they are all very good, well animated, well thought out and they match the forum they are designed for, well done! Your "who is online" image is also very well designed and fits with the theme very well!
   
3. Forum Layout & Color Scheme (Score: 9/10):
   Ok so you have postition'd all of your forums widgets on the left hand side, very good idea, this way all yuor widgets or on the same side and its easy for members/guests to see where they are, no problems with that! You colour scheme is mainly blue and pink with the exception of the multicoloured background, nice theme, light vibrant colouring, makes your forum look like a happy place, not a dull and dreary place. You have the forum in the middle bellow the announcements and the banner although, there is a bit too much scrolling to get down to your forum, mabye you could think about moving the forum up a bit somehow as it is your forums main feature.

Usergroups

1. Population of Groups (Score: 5/10):
   ok So just concentrating on the staff groups, you have 2 administrators, a perfect amount for a forum fo your size, you dont need anymore, that is just perfect, You have 4, Developers, gfx designers, reviews, sylist, Sponsers and donators in the Yanilicious Staff group, i think this is too little, you are combining all the staff groups in to one, so i would expect you should have between 6 & 8 staff members in this group as they keep the forum in check, mabye promote your best members. But one thing is an issue, you have 20 groups and most of them only have one or two members in, i suggest you cut down on your groups so each group is properly populated so the members seem like its more like a privalige being a member of a group, this will give your members a reason to stick around and post so that they can aim for something. Alot to work on in this section.
   
2. Staff Groups / User Groups (Score: 4/10):
   You have about 3 staff groups, and 17! member groups! this is too many to moderate you seriously need to think about reducing the amount of user groups as there is just way too many groups to cope with! Get rid of some of the least important groups thatdont really have a purpose and give your members soemthing to work towards, if they know there gonna be put into a group of there choice or automatically, they will be less inclined to post! You ahve the perfect amount of staff groups but way way way too amny usergroups, cut down on them and you members might want to stay and post, it works on my forum! im sure it will work on yours too. So this is another section you need to work on! Good Luck!

   We have 97 registered users

   
   Ok so you have 97 users and only 755 messages! if you divide that up into the average posts per member ratio you get only 7.7 messages per user, this is very bad for your amount of members, try giving your members something to work for, say, if a user posts alot and is really active, they should be rewarded by adding them into one of your groups! this will make your members post more as they will have something that they can aspire to become! anyway this is very poor for the amount of users you have, you'd expect around 4000 messages by now for the amount of users you have.
   
   
2. Users Active (Score: 4/10):
   

   In total there are 2 users online :: 1 Registered, 0 Hidden and 1 Guest

   You have no users online in the past 24 hours section so its hard to do this section, working with what ive got i can see that only 2 people were online welst i was reviewing and that was me and one guest, no registered users/staff members, just me and a guest, this is not very good, i can see that the most users online ever was 21 which is high but i presume that is from when the forum was still active, the last last made was today but made by a staff member not an ordinary member, not very good, you need to work on this! You could also try inviting new members off youtube or hotmail etc. also try sending out a weekly newsletter to get your members old members back, they might see the newsletter and remember about how great the forum was! and come back. Thsi way you will get a nice mix of old and new members and hopefully your forum will become active again!

   Ok so your portal really is good as the first page that loads when you first enter the forum as you have a welcome message on which says "welcome to yaNi-LiCioUs" and below, you have an animated banner saying "Weclome" nicely designed, and its good that they look like they have been designed as a welcome graphic for the members to see as soon as the enter the forum. Ok an issue with the portal is that they really isn't much going on it it, you have some tags, a latest topics widget and a welcome banner but nothing else! To make your portal more entertaining, try to add some custom widgets like a clock, or a hit counter, you can get these from places like "WidgetBox". Thsi will make your portal look better and more full! Not to mention more entertaining for your users! Adding a game is a nice idea too! So your portal is ok, it just needs improving a bit! Add some custom Widgets!
   
2. Blog Score: 9/10):
   Ok so i thought i would review this area of your forum too. So iclick on the link on the navigation bar and find myself in an area with a new background which is different to the background on the main forum, its nice to have some variety in the background of your forum, you need to have a change in scenary. Ok so on to the contents of the blog, you have information about competitions coming up at the top. which is a nice plaec to position it, as it is an important peice of information, then you have a long column, slightly off center, off more information in a good order, in order of dates, although at the bottom you have an important topic which really needs to be at the top as it describes the different forum ranks which should be one of your more important topics so i would move it up to just underneath the lottery drawing section, that way it is easy to see and in plain view for all members. So your blog id great, jsut some minor adjustments to its order and it would be perfect, good work! Oh and one other thing, at the bottom you have that notice saying "My yanilicious world" which is nice, but very hard to read as it blends in with the background, try making it stand out more! Good work anyway!
