Hi,
I would like to be able to archive all the messages of the chatbox till I delete them. i.e., Although 194 messages is the limit till now in the forum chatbox, the Administrator will get a daily or weekly backup of all the conversations that happened during that time frame. This will prevent users from using any derogatory/ abusive language when the moderators are not around.
Do you like the idea?

thanks eagle8x for your reply.i have read the thread you referred even before posting my suggestion. it would be great if you could explicitly tell me the reason for referring me to that thread.
but still if the mods feel that this thread violates any rule of this forum, i'll be happy to see this thread getting the treatment that the moderator feels is good.

- i have tried to make my suggestion as explicit as i thought was necessary.
- i did not want a poll option for this suggestion; rather i wanted to know if anybody else also feels the same as I.
- i could not find any other suggestion thread containing the same idea.
- and finally i did not abuse any user.

thanks sanket for pointing out. after reading the referred thread I thought that polls are optional and so did not activate that.
any way, now i have edited the post. so hope people will come forward to voice their opinion.

I see that this thread is a few months old, but I was actually here to post the same idea. I vote yes. I hope to see something like this implemented soon, I'm having trouble with some users deleting the archive. Sure I can remove their privileges but that doesn't help much when the log is gone.
