Hello again, this is the 3rd time i'm requesting a review, and last time (bigger review) we were better than 1st time(smaller review), now we have 75 members and about 3500 messages,that is enough for a full review :wouhou:
i think enough time passed since last one, so i may request a new review - FULL REVIEW this time please
and because "zoids" was 2 times my reviewer he would see some same things so please another reviewer this time Smile (maybe rok would be good because i saw he knows about "yugioh" forums which are same class as mine)

when the reviewer who wants to review my forum posts here, i will give per pm his account (i disallowed guests to see forums, they may see just "appplications" )

Congratulations! Your free forum review has been completed. The forum review will hold many tips, suggestions, comments, and feedback that's convenient and voluntary for your forum. Here is your forum review:

Generalities

  1. First Impressions (Score: 18/20):
    The first thing that I would like to state is that the homepage is one of the best homepages that I have ever seen! Seriously, the shooting star effect at the top of the page is pretty awesome. I also like that the homepage is made of Flash. Anyway, when I first logged into your forum as a member, I found the forum to be very welcoming and well-designed. The banner looks awesome, and the forum description icons are pretty badass! However, there are some flaws in the appearance of the forum index, such as the setup of the categories and forums. Overall, the forum index looks really great!

  2. Categories & Forums (Score: 4/10):
    When I stated that there was a problem with the setup of the categories and forums, I meant that all of the forums could be packed into other categories. For example, you can form the 'Introductions', 'Announcements/news', and 'Suggestions' sections into one category; something like 'Forum-Related' or 'Front Desk' would be a great name for the category. You can also delete the 'Team applications' section, and have a sticky thread in the Announcements section for that; same thing goes for the 'About us', 'Staff', 'Test results', and 'Team's Rules and Tips' sections as well.

Design & Layout

  1. Graphics (Score: 20/20):
    Banner
    As I had recently stated, the banner looks pretty awesome if you were to ask me. I really like the three monster guys and the background behind/around them. Nothing is wrong with the forum's banner. [:

    Navigation Bar
    I see this navigation bar a lot when I am reviewing forums, and it is starting to get old. However, it is still a nice navigation bar, and it contributes to the well-looks of the forum's layout.

    Forum Icons
    The forum icons look very cool, and I am fond with the fact that they are gears. And doesn't 'badass' cut it for the forum description icons? Perfectolicious!

    'Who Is Online?' Image
    The Who Is Online?' image looks very simple and decent. The gears look pretty cool, and they fit the scheme of the gear forum icons. Great job!

  2. Forum Layout & Colors (Score: 10/10):
    Furthermore, the overall forum layout and color scheme look very nice on the forum. Keep the color scheme going, and maintain that great job of keeping the forum layout looking clean.

Design & Layout total :: 30/30

Usergroups

  1. Population of Staff Members (Score: 10/10):
    In total, you have 2 administration team members and 3 moderation team members. That seems to be a decent amount of team members for about 80 registered forum members. I recommend that you remain at that number of staff members until you definitely need another staff member.

  2. Usergroups in General (Score: 10/10):
    In total, you have 5 usergroups. I supppose that os a good number of usergroups that are needed on your forum. I don't necessarily understand what the 'Representatives' and 'Non-Representatives' usergroups are for, but I guess that they seems alright.

Usergroups :: 20/20

Forum Activity

  1. Post/Member Ratio & Quantity (Score: 10/10):
    Our users have posted a total of 3543 messages
    We have 79 registered users
    The newest registered user is venom

    Your forum has an approximated 80 registered forum members and 3,550 posts. If you were to divide all of the approximated forum posts into all of the approximated registered forum members, then the ratio would be around 45 posts per member. If you were to ask me, idealistically, 45 posts per member seems like a nice ratio. Continue what you do into getting more activity- send out weekly newletters and daily account inactivity notification emails.

  2. Users Active (Score: 6/10):
    Members connected during last 24 hours : AtLas, death-coder, Drago, Gin0, HunterZero, madao, Mizara, najex, reviewer, Scorpion67, venom, Vongola-x, WilliamBerlin, Yuri Bakura

    Your forum has had approximately 15 members in the past 24 hours. I think that your forum can do a little bit better than that considering the fact that it has nearly 80 registered forum members. Idealistically, from my perspective, you should have at least 25 members active in the past 24 hours. However, at least you have some activity flowing throughout your forum. Just keep the activity flowing, and work on what I stated in the above criteria: send out weekly newletters and daily account inactivity notification emails. If you accompish that, your forum will be pretty much set.

Forum Activity total :: 16/20

Overall Marking: 88/100

What could be done to improve your forum:
What you really need to focus your mind on right now is fixing the categories and forums problem. Arrange the sections more professionally, and be sure to have everything organized and clean.

The best thing I like about your forum:
The homepage is definitely the best thing that I like about your forum. Also, the graphics are very nice as well.

Rock thank you for unlocking the topic because if i could reply here i wouldnt make another topic just because of a question lol

but well, what is the required amount of points to pass the review (i saw a lower number of points in some review and there was written "you have passed") Rolling Eyes
8 Rok, on 16/04/2010 at 21h42
I deleted the 'You have passed!' message from my reviewing template. There isn't any amount of points to pass the review; you just get a score.

Okay, now this is complete.
