I came across the MPS mod this morning, or rather the My Profile Space mod. After looking into it, the mod turns your boring old profile into a page almost the same as myspace. It has blog intregration also. I think this is a good idea, as myspace is very popular, and often when i see polls on forums about the different websites members may visit in a day, its alwaus to the likes of myspace or something similar. It, in my mind, would be a good way to keep members on the board and provide something very different from the normal mods that are out there for free forums.

Although this makes things a little more complicated and attention is taken away from the site itself, I voted yes because it is another point of interest to those who are fluent in the Myspace and other blogs of that sort.

This could be an interesting feature on boards, from an evolution of the RPG Sheet (RPG type forums) to a more classic My Space // FaceBook ressemblance on Discussion Boards

I voted yes. This would add some spark to people's profiles, and give you a better idea of their personality, hobbies, etc. Plus, it'd be fun setting the profile up. ^^

I vote yes.. and I agree with Kilsek.. don't know why since we still have no idea what, if anything, the techies are working on and if they'll accept our suggestions or not. *sigh* But I still vote yes. Smile

Apparently I'm really slow.. I have no idea when the personalized profile elements were implemented, but I just found them today (along with templates.. to which my time has expired to use Hem

). So.. Thank you for the upgrade that allows us to create and modify the elements we want. thumright

Ditto, plus I don't like "social networking" sites such as myspce/FB in general... if this does go through I hope its optional so I don't have to have it on my forums.
